Achievement in school is tremendously important! Each day hundreds of achievements take place, such as learning to balance on a scooter, write a letter e, remember 8x8 is 64 or speak in front of the school in Collective Worship. At Woodbury School, such achievements are highly valued and celebrated as collectively they lead to a great deal of learning, personal development and success. When a child experiences success it fuels their motivation and confidence to carry on experimenting, questioning and trying which in turn lead to more achievements and greater learning!
Achievements take many forms dependent upon the situation - success in music, sport, abseiling or a maths test; are all very different. The gallery below gives a few examples of these all showing the huge amount of pride, self confidence and enjoyment these gave our children.
