Maths support for parents:
As many of you know, we are a Maths No Problem school, so all the Maths we teach and embody in the school is all through the Maths No Problem scheme. MNP have provided some content for parents/carers to support you and your child's home learning, it goes into explanations of imagery used in the scheme which you may or may not be familiar with, and explains how some of the content is taught through the scheme. Here is the link: https://mathsnoproblem.com/en/programs/school-at-home/ (below)
Furthermore, their Twitter page is full of creative, fun and engaging ideas to challenge your children at home, their handle is @mathsnoproblem, and here is a link to their page https://twitter.com/mathsnoproblem (below)
Above are some of the activities from KS1 and KS2 that I have spotted and enjoyed on their twitter page.
Please find below a list of useful websites, links and ideas for extra activities to do at home during this difficult time.
As well as reading your book make sure you listen to a story being read to you today. Follow this link to listen to Mrs Harwood read ‘James and the Giant Peach’ by Roald Dahl. If you ask an adult to subscribe and click on ‘Mrs Harwood’s story time’ you can choose the chapter you are up to.
