Two Teaching Assistant and Meal Time Assistant Posts to Support Children with SEND

 

Fixed term posts - until children leave the school or ECHP funding ceases

Hours: Either 2hr or 2.25hr daily Teaching Assistant plus 1hr daily Meal Time Assistant

 

We are looking to appoint two people to join our team each afternoon and lunchtime  to support two children with special educational needs.  

The roles both require a forward thinking, creative approach combined with resilience and patience to improve outcomes. You will need to be calm, cheerful, pro-active, flexible and able to use your iniative. Responsibilities of the roles include setting up and maintaining learning environments,  following planning, as well as adapting planning to create activities to meet the needs of the children. The roles will involve supporting the individual children and groups of children when required. 

 

The posts also include meal time assistant duties in the dining hall and on the playground.  Successful applicants need to be effective team players who will go the extra-mile for the chidlren and team.  Experience of working with children with special needs within a school environment would be an advantage.   We are committed team, who work together and support one another to achieve the best for the children.
