We welcome help in classes.
This could be to help hear individual children read, support children with an activity such as cooking, DT or helping to mount work or put up displays. You will be given training depending upon what you choose to do. Alternatively you may wish to run a club - chess, knitting and crafts clubs have been very popular and led by parents. We are also keen to receive visits from members of the local community, particularly if they have particular expertise that they would like to share with our pupils.
If you have a spare hour or so a week (or know of someone who does) then please contact your child’s class teacher or the office staff.
Before being able to help in school, all volunteers need to complete the form below, provide details of two referees and be subject to a DBS check to ensure everyone who works with children is safe to do so.
