Temporary Class Teacher 0.8 MPS
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Teacher to join our dedicated and caring team from the summer term 2025, to cover a maternity vacancy, initially in our Year 2 class, for 4 days per week.
We are seeking someone who:
- Can inspire children and enable them to be the best that they can be;
- Has the skills to plan and deliver learning which is enjoyable, challenging and leads to excellent progress;
- Can effectively use a range of assessments to inform teaching;
- Can create a positive, purposeful and organised learning environment;
- Has the ability to work as part of, and contribute to, a very supportive and skilled teaching team;
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and a 'can do' attitude;
- Is enthusiastic and willing to do the little things which make a big difference;
- Is willing to be involved in all aspects of school life

Learning Support Assistant Grade B or C - £12.45 - £13.26 per hour depending on experience 28.25 hours per week
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support a delightful pupil with SEND in our foundation class. This role will support learning, daily routines and language development.
The role is for 5 mornings and 3 afternoons per week, to start as soon as possible or in January 2025. We are happy to consider a degree of flexibility so this could be either one role or a job share. Please indicate on the application form if you are interested in all of the hours as one role or job share.
The role will require a forward thinking, creative approach. You will need to be calm, cheerful, proactive and flexible. A positive and encouraging attitude is essential, as is kindness and an ability to use your initiative.
Successful applicants need to be effective team players who will go the extra-mile for the children and team. Experience of working with children with autism within a school environment would be an advantage.

Working in a close team, you must have a dedication and commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their overall wellbeing, demonstrate good communication skills, show flexibility to create a thriving learning environment and be someone who will 'go the extra mile'.
Full training will be given on the job but you must also commit to attending training at Exeter College one day per week during term time.

Mealtime Assistants £12.26 per hour 38 weeks per year
We are looking to recruit one or more Mealtime Assistants who are hardworking and dedicated members of staff to aid in the smooth running of lunchtimes. The role will be for 3-5 lunchtimes per week between 12.00-1.15pm and will include supporting children at lunchtime in the dining hall and encouraging play. We are looking for individuals who can join our incredibly dedicated team; people who are inclusive, enthusiastic, caring, adaptable and flexible and a strong team players.
