 Early Years Pre-School Practitioner Grade B or C depending on experience £12.85 - £13.26 per hour Full time/term time only

Are you passionate about all aspects of Early Years education, practical learning, and being outdoors?

We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Preschool Practitioner to join our thriving team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be willing to take the lead on SEND and help develop our preschool outdoor learning area. Training and support will be provided.

You will need to be calm, cheerful, proactive, and flexible, with a working knowledge of the EYFS. You must have proven experience within a nursery or preschool setting. A positive and encouraging attitude is essential, along with kindness, patience, and the ability to use your initiative.

Successful applicants must be effective team players who are willing to go the extra mile for the children and the team.

Lunchtime Supervisor  

7.5 hours per week   11.45am – 1.15pm Monday - Friday  

NJC Grade A £12.65 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to join our dedicated team as soon as possible. This is a vital role supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our pupils during their lunch break.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety, welfare, and appropriate behaviour of pupils during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors.

Help to supervise children in the playground, dining areas, and other designated school spaces.

Identify and report potential hazards to ensure a safe environment.

Report significant incidents, injuries, or concerns to the relevant teacher or headteacher.

Maintain confidentiality and follow all school safeguarding and behaviour policies.

Support pupils during wet weather play, ensuring activities are safe, calm, and well-supervised.

 

The role will require a forward thinking, creative approach. You will need to be calm, cheerful, proactive and flexible. A positive and encouraging attitude is essential, as is kindness and an ability to use your initiative to manage groups of children effectively and fairly.

 SEN Teaching Assistants at Woodbury Salterton school

Part time mornings only to commence April 2026 

To be paid at NJC Band C Scale Point 5 £13.26ph (39 weeks per year). 8.30am – 1:15pm

We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to support two delightful pupils with SEND in our KS1 class. These roles will support learning, daily routines, managing feelings and emotions and language development.

The role will require a forward thinking, creative approach. You will need to be calm, cheerful, proactive and flexible. A positive and encouraging attitude is essential, as is kindness and an ability to use your initiative. 

Successful applicants need to be effective team players who will go the extra-mile for the children and team. Experience of working with children with SEND and /or within a school environment would be an advantage, although not necessarily essential – it is about get the right people for the roles.
